I am a native of Norfolk and have lived in the area most of my life.  I graduated from Old Dominion University majoring in Accounting. After college, I worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years in Accounting & Hotel Management. I changed industries in 2005 to construction when a friend I met at one of the hotels I worked needed help with their local businesses - B&T Kitchens and Baths. I have embraced this industry and this company with the same passion and commitment as I did in the hotel industry. Although very different industries, there is a common thread; people.   Regardless of the industry, I have made people my business.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to purchase B&T Kitchens and Baths | Remodeling division.    Needless to say, it was an easy decision as this has been my home and the staff are like family.  

At B&T Kitchens and Baths, our team is focused on our customers, and have an unwavering passion to reach for excellence in everything. One of my duties is to make sure everyone who walks through our doors, receives the best experience possible with their kitchen or bath remodeling project. We continue to review our processes to make sure we exceed our client’s expectations. Our employees are some of the BEST in Hampton Roads and I feel lucky to work with such a talented group that I can call my friends.

Kitchen design is an extension of each client and becomes more than just "a space"; it is a place memories are created. At B&T Kitchens and Baths, our goal is to design what you dream and to communicate the process every step of the way while exceeding your expectations! Even though we offer cabinetry and kitchen/bath remodeling services, our number one priority is building genuine relationships with our customers, with our industry partners and with each other.

After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 2000 and my Master’s Degree in Kitchen & Bath Design in 2002, both from Virginia Tech, I worked for 8 years as a Kitchen Designer & Sales Associate. While I loved designing for clients from all facets of life, I felt my talents would be better suited in the operations side…a more behind the scenes position. That is what led me to B&T Kitchens and Baths.

Since August 2012, I have worked for B&T Kitchens and Baths as Design Coordinator. Although you may not see me (since I work behind the scenes), I do work on every job that comes through B&T.  I am responsible for ordering your cabinets, countertops and hardware. It is important to us that you enjoy and love your new kitchen or bath, and part of my job is to review for accuracy to ensure a successful project! I do this by making sure your order is correct and all the necessary materials are ordered so it arrives at your home complete and ready for installation, while keeping a foot in the design process.

At the end of 2018, I ventured into the accounting side of our company…gaining much knowledge and experience on how we operate to maintain positive operations.  It has proven to be a challenge that has resulted in exponential personal and professional growth.

From your designer to the installers, I am one small part of a team of people who work diligently and tirelessly to make your vision a reality.

As a native of Virginia Beach, I have always been inspired by nature, music, the ocean, and other people. I work to remain in touch with my senses at all times and find my surroundings alluring and enriching whatever they may be. With my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Longwood University and a background in custom kitchen design, I have found a passion for creating functional but beautiful kitchens and bathrooms.

Most of my memories growing up take place in my family’s kitchen. Whether I was doing homework at the island, learning to bake with my mom, or wrestling our pups on the floor, our kitchen had many functions and brought together so many important relationships. Every day I work hard to create kitchen designs for clients that can foster the same type of relationships I experienced in my own kitchen while incorporating their own traditions and ideas. Kitchen design has been a fulfilling career for me and I hope to continue growing and serving families in the Tidewater area.

I am originally from Richmond, VA and moved to Virginia Beach shortly after graduating from Radford University in 2005. I spent 10 years of my career on the supplier side of the industry selling plumbing fixtures, appliances, and cabinetry to homeowners, builders, and remodelers, before coming over to the remodeling side of the business 5 years ago. I worked for another local high profile remodeling company for 4 years as an Interior Designer, where I designed and selected all of the remodeling fixtures that went into our projects; from cabinets and countertops to plumbing, tile, and flooring, I am well versed in it all!

When working together with clients it is easy to see that my passion is for designing beautifully unique and functional spaces, while also building genuine relationships with those people I'm working with. I love capturing the essence of each client in their own home environment and providing solutions that will improve their use of space. I pride myself on being extremely detail-oriented and planning through every step in the process so that your remodeling experience will go as smoothly as possible once the demo begins.

I am often inspired by nature and love spending time outdoors on the beach, in the mountains and living each day to its fullest. My husband and I have two young kids (ages 5 and 7) that keep us very busy in our free time! If you ask my daughter Ainsley what she wants to be when she grows up, she will tell you "I want to be a Designer just like my mommy," and my son usually follows suit saying he'd like to grow up to be a builder.

Whether it's a small project or a full home remodel, I love collaborating with clients during all phases of the design, planning and remodeling stages.

Originally from Upstate New York,  I’ve adopted Virginia as my home state as I’ve lived here on and off since 1993.  

One of my earliest memories as a child was digging out my dad’s tape measure and graph paper to redesign my room.  I’ve been reimagining spaces ever since.

I love to help people feel good in their own space. I firmly believe that good design is personal.  It should make you feel joy simply by being there.  The ultimate goal for every one of my projects is that when it’s complete, my client loves it so much that they can’t help but smile every time they walk in, and will enjoy it for years to come.

Your home is extremely individual and personal.   It should not only reflect who you are, but just the simple act of being in your home should bring about feelings of joy, peace and positivity.  I love to help people get to a place where they experience those feelings from their surroundings.  It’s a privilege to be able to serve the Hampton Roads Community in this capacity today and for years to come. 

Lyndsay is a Chesapeake native and has a huge heart for all of those furry 4-legged friends. She is an animal lover and has two adorable dogs who seem to test her patience each day. Family has always been a cornerstone for Lyndsay and loves spending free time with her husband, family and friends.

Lyndsay came aboard at B&T in 2020 with the same enthusiasm she had during her 12 years in the customer service industry. She has a strong need to help others and has embraced her new role at B&T with the same drive and energy. Lyndsay is currently wearing two hats at B&T; accounting and design support. Her goal is to always make our Clients feel as comfortable as possible so there is a clear line of communication and expectation.

From the time I was born in Asheville, North Carolina, I have been obsessed with nature. My earliest memories were spending time in the forest or at the Virginia shore. I have always been fascinated by the patterns, textures, luminosity, and rhythms of nature. Nature is life giving, energizing, and regenerative; the source of my passions for growth, function, and transformation. While other children were playing with dolls or cars, I was either doing art or reimagining living spaces for family and friends. Observative, detail oriented, and highly creative, I often see possibilities where others see problems.

I started designing professionally in 2002 and I knew I had found my life's purpose. When I moved to Norfolk and started with B and T Kitchens and Baths in 2023, I knew I had found my lifelong tribe, dedicated to excellence and integrity.

I absolutely love creating designs that will positively transform spaces and the lives lived in them. As I create, I imagine the new memories that will be made in each room. Kitchens: where nutritious food is prepared with love and laughter fill the air. Bathrooms: filled with the sound of children giggling in bubble baths or an adult escaping into a spa inspired refuge of relaxation and tranquility. A mudroom that is re-envisioned goes beyond a utilitarian pass through to an entryway that greets you cheerfully, where organization helps keep the rest of the home clean and tidy. A well thought out home office fuels maximum productivity and creative flow.

While I have designed and managed hundreds of successful remodel and new construction projects, my favorite is the one right in front of me. Building relationships and collaborating with clients to see their goals and dreams realized is where I thrive. If a client wants to sell in a few years or create their forever home, I can make it happen.

Exceeding my client's expectations is not only my goal, but my legacy.
